About the role
The Assistant Manager – Accounts Receivable will support the resort’s finance team by ensuring accurate and timely recording of receivables, supervising daily AR operations, and providing analysis for financial reporting. This role is based at the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island resort in the United Arab Emirates.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain proper accounts receivable records and ensure accurate posting of receivables and receipts.
- Analyze accounts, monitor aging, overdue accounts, unapplied cash, skips, disputes, and chargebacks.
- Prepare and present periodic AR performance reports, aging analysis, and KPI updates.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve AR queries and support month‑end closing.
- Supervise day‑to‑day AR staff, ensuring compliance with internal controls and company standards.
- Assume manager duties in their absence and promote a positive work environment.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of general accounting or accounts receivable experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong sense of responsibility, orderliness, and attention to detail.
- Good communication and supervisory skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
