Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance

About the role

A growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Audit & Assurance to join its Financial Services Audit team in Dubai. The role offers the chance to lead audit engagements, supervise teams, and work with high‑profile financial services clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage external audit engagements for financial services clients.
• Supervise audit teams and provide guidance throughout assignments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Prepare audit documentation, review financial statements, and support successful completion of audit projects.
• Work with clients across funds, asset management, fintech, banking, insurance, and brokerage sectors.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of external audit experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, or ACA (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
• Experience auditing financial services organisations.
• Previous experience supervising audit teams and managing client relationships.
• Familiarity with UAE or GCC regulatory environments is a strong advantage.
