Assistant Manager - Dispute Management

About the role

Talents Tide is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Dispute Management function in Dubai, UAE, reporting to the Director of Disputes Management within Shared Services. The role manages and oversees the recording of court cases against customers who have defaulted on their lease agreements, helps settle lease invoices and other dues, facilitates payment options, finalizes unit requisitions and provides regular reports to management.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Collection Team to mediate and resolve conflicts, using strategies that minimize legal action and preserve good relationships.
• Identify and manage non-responsive, defaulting customers, including late payments and dishonoured cheques, and develop action plans such as payment plans or legal proceedings.
• Manage customer suspension in cases of default.
• Collect and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation records with organizational units.
• Submit and follow up cases with the Rental Dispute Center (RDC) and/or the Legal Affairs Department (LAD).
• Liaise with the Legal Office and other units on escalations, arbitration and litigation.
• Coordinate actions after a court order or judgment, such as unlocking premises, disposing of assets, auctioning equipment or writing off accounts.
• Handle internal and external communications with stakeholders and manage the team and daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, law or a related field.
• Law license.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work in a team and independently when needed.
