Assistant Manager – Finance

About the role

Grand Hyatt is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee financial operations across all Hyatt Place Dubai properties. The role requires strong analytical abilities, mastery of Microsoft Excel, and a solid background in hospitality finance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure financial compliance and accuracy across all properties.
• Prepare consolidated budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Conduct in‑depth financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, and accounting records in line with Hyatt standards.
• Audit accounts and implement internal control procedures.
• Supervise monthly journal entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
• Support recruitment, training, and development of Finance team members.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of finance experience within the hospitality industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and hotel financial systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed financial analysis and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
