Assistant Manager - Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Finance supports core financial processes, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and effective governance across assigned business units. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive improvements, manage liquidity and contribute to strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Oversee UAE VAT compliance, filing and reconciliation, and ensure adherence to corporate tax and e‑invoicing regulations.
• Act as the main contact for internal and external auditors, facilitating timely audit completion.
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls, implement audit recommendations and mitigate risk.
• Identify IT system gaps, lead automation projects and reduce manual interventions.
• Monitor daily liquidity, optimise working‑capital cycles and ensure funding for operations.
• Collaborate with offshore and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce with CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CMA qualification (Masters a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and UAE regulatory environment.
• Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced, collaborative settings.
