Assistant Manager – Financial Modelling (Renewable Energy & Project Finance)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager, Financial Modelling to join our Finance team in Dubai. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Modelling, you will support Yellow Door Energy’s renewable‑energy projects and financing activities through high‑quality financial models and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review complex financial models for renewable energy projects and transactions, including cash‑flow, capital structure, debt/equity terms, tax assumptions, IRR, NPV and DSCR.
• Run sensitivity, downside and scenario analyses to inform investment and financing decisions.
• Update and reconcile consolidated, portfolio and TopCo models.
• Provide modelling support for project finance, corporate finance and acquisition activities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business Development, Technical, Commercial and Legal teams to validate inputs and assumptions.
• Present model outputs, risks and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Enhance modelling templates, controls and automation, including VBA where appropriate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with strong finance and accounting exposure.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on financial modelling experience in project finance, corporate finance, infrastructure, energy, banking or advisory.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across functions.
