Assistant Manager - ICT Governance and Compliance

About the role

A manufacturing company in Jebel Ali, Dubai, is looking for an Assistant Manager - ICT Governance and Compliance. The role reports to the ICT Manager and focuses on developing, maintaining and enforcing IT policies, procedures and controls so that the company complies with J-SOX (JDOX) requirements and corporate governance standards. It covers IT general controls, change management governance, ERP and application controls, and IT infrastructure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ICT policies, standards and procedures aligned with J-SOX (JDOX) and internal control requirements.
• Implement and monitor IT General Controls (ITGC), including access management, change management, backup and recovery, and IT operations.
• Ensure all system changes are properly documented, tested, approved and implemented.
• Coordinate and support internal and external IT audits, including remediation of audit findings.
• Monitor compliance with IT policies and recommend improvements to strengthen control effectiveness.
• Deliver governance and compliance awareness training to IT teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT Governance, IT Compliance, IT Audit, Risk Management or IT Controls.
