Assistant Manager Internal Audit – Scope Investment

About the role

Scope Investment is expanding its internal audit function and seeks an Assistant Manager to lead audit engagements across its diversified portfolio. You will plan, execute, and report on audits, evaluate controls, and support governance initiatives while working closely with business units.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits and control reviews for the company and its affiliates.
• Perform risk assessments, identify operational and fraud risks, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare flowcharts, risk & control matrices, audit programs, and detailed reports.
• Collaborate with process owners to close control gaps and implement recommendations.
• Support development of self‑assessment and self‑auditing frameworks.
• Track operational risk incidents and conduct root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in business transformation, performance reviews, and due‑diligence projects.
• Execute audits in ERP and IT‑enabled environments, including IT process audits.
• Ensure compliance with IIA Standards, the International Professional Practices Framework, and internal audit best practices.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or internal controls.
• Experience in Real Estate, Healthcare, Retail, Distribution, or Food & Beverage is preferred.
• Familiarity with COSO Internal Control Framework and IIA Standards.
• Exposure to Big 4 environments and ERP implementation projects is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
