Assistant Manager - Linen And Laundry

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Linen & Laundry department. The role supports the Manager in overseeing financial performance, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction within the resort’s laundry operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing financial resources, monitoring budgets and tracking performance against targets.
• Analyse equipment usage, staffing levels and production processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain SOPs and operational policies, ensuring timely and secure delivery of laundry items.
• Supervise daily staffing, task assignments and production targets, escalating issues as needed.
• Handle guest laundry and pressing requests, addressing concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years experience in laundry, housekeeping or related services with a focus on quality control.
• Strong team coordination and leadership skills in a multicultural environment.
• Effective communication for cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Proactive problem‑solving, highly organized and able to multitask.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with laundry management systems for scheduling and reporting.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
• Basic equipment maintenance knowledge.
