About the role
We are looking for a motivated UAE National to join our Marine Insurance team as an Assistant Manager Marine Underwriter. The role involves evaluating marine insurance risks, preparing quotations and policy documents, and supporting profitable underwriting decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and underwrite marine insurance risks for cargo, transit, and related business.
- Review applications, risk information, claims history and prepare quotations, endorsements and renewals.
- Liaise with brokers, clients and internal departments on underwriting requirements.
- Monitor underwriting performance, maintain records and ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations.
Required profile
- UAE National with Family Book (Emirati) – mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Insurance or related field.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are welcome.
Required skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
