Assistant Manager – Operations & Process Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Operations & Process Development will oversee daily operational activities, ensure SLA compliance, and drive continuous improvement across processes. This role supports DP World’s mission to enhance trade flow through efficient, innovative operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily operational tasks to meet departmental objectives.
• Track operational performance, SLA compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Plan, prioritize, and allocate resources for maximum productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Analyze operational data, perform reconciliations, and support decision‑making.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities.
• Lead projects, monitor milestones, and support system/automation implementations.
• Coach and develop team members to foster collaboration and performance.
• Enhance customer experience by addressing pain points and promoting best practices.
