Assistant Manager Planning and Performance

About the role

The Assistant Manager Planning and Performance will be responsible for on‑time production and analysis of performance packs, creation of user‑friendly management information, and comprehensive financial performance reporting across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets at bank, business unit and cost centre levels.
• Produce monthly management reports, provide deep insight, scenario analysis and recommendations to drive business performance.
• Conduct net interest margin analysis, peer group benchmarking and economic updates for board and investor packs.
• Support cost control framework, sales incentive payouts and financial modelling for initiatives.
• Gather data for management reports, improve reporting processes and handle ad‑hoc business queries.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with a chartered accountancy background.
• Strong knowledge of banking products, planning, profitability analysis, MIS and reporting.
• Ability to translate business strategy into measurable objectives and metrics.
