Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

About the role

Mai Dubai is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead Talent Acquisition and Onboarding initiatives. In this fast‑paced position you will partner with hiring managers, build strong talent pipelines, and ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for corporate, commercial, technical and operational roles.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate workforce needs into effective hiring strategies.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, employee referrals, agencies and direct search.
• Manage high‑volume hiring while maintaining quality of hire and a positive candidate experience.
• Oversee candidate screening, interviews, assessments, offers and pre‑employment requirements.
• Design and continuously improve the onboarding journey for new joiners.
• Strengthen employer branding to position Mai Dubai as an employer of choice.
• Monitor and report on recruitment KPIs such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness and quality of hire.
• Develop dashboards and use data insights to optimise recruitment processes.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external talent partners.
• Contribute to the enhancement of recruitment policies, tools and systems, including SAP SuccessFactors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, retail or a high‑volume environment.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle recruitment across multiple functions.
• Strong sourcing and headhunting capabilities, especially for passive candidates.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
