About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is recruiting an Assistant Nurse for its Maternity/Postnatal Ward. The nurse provides and coordinates patient-centred, evidence-based nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in line with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company.

Key responsibilities

Deliver quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, working with the multi-professional team according to clinical standards and relevant legislation.
Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in line with MCME risk policies, procedures and legislation.
Create a conducive environment for positive patient experiences, as guided by nursing leadership.
Contribute to a learning environment that builds employee competence.

Required profile

Nursing Diploma (essential).
Valid BLS certificate (essential).
At least two years of experience in your own country (essential).
UAE experience is desirable.
