Assistant Operations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily activities across the Rent‑a‑Car and Delivery Services divisions. The role ensures smooth operations, staff coordination, fleet management, customer service, and compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily operations of the Rent‑a‑Car and Delivery Services divisions.
• Supervise and coordinate Team Leaders, monitor their performance and productivity.
• Handle vehicle allocation, utilization, maintenance, and documentation.
• Coordinate rental bookings, vehicle collection, delivery, returns and address customer requirements.
• Monitor delivery schedules, routes, and service performance.
• Resolve customer complaints, operational issues, delays, breakdowns and escalations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and KPI updates.
• Coordinate with Finance, workshops, insurance companies, suppliers and other service providers.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in rent‑a‑car, delivery, fleet management or a similar industry, with UAE experience.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence and ability to work under pressure.
