Assistant Outlet Manager - Food & Beverage

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid, part of Accor, is looking for a dynamic, service-oriented Assistant Outlet Manager to join its Food & Beverage team. The role supports the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily operations, keeping service standards and guest satisfaction high, managing staff performance and helping achieve financial goals. It is a permanent, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Operational support: help manage day-to-day operations, ensure smooth service delivery, brand standards and a good guest experience.
• Guest relations: greet guests, handle complaints and requests promptly and professionally.
• Team supervision: supervise and motivate the outlet team, assign duties, provide training and check performance against company standards.
• Inventory control: help manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving and monitoring usage to minimise waste.
• Financial oversight: support financial targets by monitoring expenses, upselling and contributing to revenue strategies.
• Compliance: make sure health, safety and hygiene regulations are followed.
• Collaboration: work with the Outlet Manager and other departments on service, events and promotions.
• Reporting: give the Outlet Manager feedback on sales, staff issues and guest feedback.
• Problem-solving: resolve operational issues and take initiative to improve service and performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage service, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle several tasks at once.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends and service techniques.
• Commitment to sustainable practices and compliance with local laws, ISO standards and food safety and hygiene regulations.
