Assistant Professor in General Pathology

About the role

The College of Dentistry at Ajman University is seeking a full‑time Assistant/Associate Professor in General Pathology. The successful candidate will join a dynamic academic community, delivering high‑quality teaching and contributing to research and curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and laboratory teaching in General Pathology for undergraduate dental programmes.
• Develop and continuously improve pathology curricula in line with accreditation and outcome‑based standards.
• Provide academic advising and support student research activities.
• Participate in scholarly research and publish in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Engage in academic committees, community outreach, and professional service activities.

Required profile

• MBBS (or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• PhD in General Pathology or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience teaching General Pathology at the undergraduate level, preferably in health‑sciences or dental education.
• Proven record of research and scholarly publications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
