Assistant Professor – Operations Management

About the role

The College of Business at Abu Dhabi University seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor in Operations Management. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, conduct high‑quality research, and contribute to the college’s academic and service missions.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Operations and Supply Chain Management and related disciplines.
• Develop and sustain a research agenda leading to publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and theses.
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous program enhancement aligned with accreditation standards and industry practices.
• Engage in departmental, college and university committees and academic initiatives.
• Maintain professional development through training, workshops and conferences.
• Foster industry collaborations and support university outreach and innovation activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a closely related field from an internationally recognised university.
• At least two years of teaching experience in accredited higher‑education institutions.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to high‑quality research with publications in reputable peer‑reviewed journals.
• Professional proficiency in English (oral and written); Arabic is a plus.
