Assistant Purchasing Manager

About the role

The Assistant Purchasing Manager will support the procurement function across all group companies, ensuring timely sourcing, cost control and supplier management. This role focuses on improving procurement processes, managing vendor relationships and maintaining efficient supply‑chain operations for diverse business units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities for departments such as F&B, operations, maintenance and events.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand specifications and ensure on‑time procurement.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and contracts to achieve competitive pricing.
• Implement cost‑saving strategies and monitor market trends.
• Support forecasting, demand planning and maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain proper documentation (LPOs, invoices, contracts) and ensure audit‑ready records.
• Track procurement KPIs, prepare management reports and analyse purchasing patterns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration or a related field.
• 4–7 years of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably in hospitality, F&B or multi‑unit operations.
• Strong negotiation and supplier‑management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure in operational environments.
• Experience handling multiple locations, bulk purchasing and seasonal demand.
