Assistant Relationship Manager – Financial Institutions

About the role

Prepare credit proposals and monitor credit exposures to financial institutions and sovereign entities in the UAE and international markets, ensuring compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal risk policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive credit proposals for local and international FI counterparties, assessing country, sovereign and regulatory risk.
• Structure funded and non‑funded facilities and conduct annual and interim credit reviews.
• Monitor exposures, track covenants and early‑warning indicators, and ensure complete KYC documentation per UAE AML/CFT regulations.
• Liaise with Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Treasury and Relationship Managers to execute credit documentation and maintain records for audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field; professional certifications (CFA, FRM, CA, MBA Finance) preferred.
• At least 4 years of credit analysis experience, preferably within UAE banking or financial institution coverage.
• Strong understanding of Basel III framework, UAE banking regulations and AML/KYC requirements.
