Assistant Relationship Manager

About the role

Rakbank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support its Relationship Managers in delivering high‑quality banking services to corporate clients across the UAE. You will act as a key liaison, ensuring client enquiries are addressed promptly and that credit and transactional processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers in maintaining and growing client relationships, responding to enquiries and coordinating internal teams.
• Prepare credit proposals, memos, amendments and conduct industry and financial analysis for credit assessments.
• Support transaction processing for trade finance, term loans, remittances and other lending facilities.
• Coordinate account opening, profile updates, digital banking applications and documentation with Operations and related departments.
• Liaise with Risk, Credit, Treasury, Legal, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure timely turnaround.
• Conduct AML, KYC and other regulatory checks, and maintain accurate client and portfolio records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; MBA, CA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Business, Commercial or Corporate Banking.
• Strong understanding of commercial banking products, credit analysis and portfolio management.
• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, AML requirements and Central Bank guidelines.
