Assistant Restaurant Manager (Greek Speaker)

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the restaurant team in delivering exceptional guest experiences in a busy Accor hotel in Dubai. The role focuses on managing reservations, coordinating service staff, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and service standards while acting as the first and last point of contact for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Check the reservation system and guest information for each meal period and allocate bookings evenly among servers.
• Notify supervisors of large groups, VIPs, or special requests and ensure all relevant details are communicated.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, provide accurate information about menus, promotions, and hotel services.
• Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, pricing, and special events.
• Assist servers and runners as needed, and ensure the host station is always staffed.
• Perform opening, cleaning, and closing duties, including outlet cashiering responsibilities.
• Adhere to the hotel’s hygiene, HACCP standards, and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
• Previous customer service experience; prior food and beverage experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• ProServe certification.
• Experience with the OpenTable reservation system.
