Assistant Sales Manager – CIS Markets, GCC Region

About the role

Rixos Hotels is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to develop and manage business from CIS source markets, driving revenue and market share for its portfolio across the GCC region. The role works closely with hotel commercial teams to execute regional sales strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement account action plans to meet revenue, room‑night and business development targets.
• Manage relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, travel agencies, destination management companies and other partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase production from existing accounts.
• Conduct sales calls, market visits and product presentations to strengthen relationships.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals and contracts within approved parameters.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and hotel sales teams on offers, promotions and allocations.
• Monitor account performance, booking pace and cancellations, recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate familiarisation trips, partner training, site inspections, trade shows and roadshows.
• Support joint marketing activities and evaluate commercial results.
• Track source‑market trends, air connectivity and competitor activity to inform sales priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field (preferred).
• Three to five years of hotel or travel‑trade sales experience, including work with CIS markets.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and achieve sales targets.
• Established relationships with travel‑trade partners are an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Russian; additional market languages a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM systems.
