Assistant Waiter

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Waiter to join our team at SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences, a 5‑star luxury hotel. In this role you will support the restaurant service team by delivering courteous and professional service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.
• Maintain good communication with management.
• Know all menu items thoroughly.
• Prepare and check tables before service.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Follow company practices when delivering food from the kitchen to guests.
• Keep the restaurant area clean and orderly, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations.
• Complete cleaning duties within allocated times to company standards.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain effective and efficient table maintenance.
• Be assertive, attentive, and maintain thorough knowledge of all product and service procedures.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in a public‑contact role, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle‑brand hotel.
• Gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Positive and productive relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively to promote teamwork.
