Assistant/Associate Professor in Information Systems & Tech Management

About the role

Zayed University’s Information Systems and Technology Management (ISTM) Department seeks qualified candidates for full‑time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, starting Spring or Fall 2027. The role focuses on teaching and research in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Database systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and AI‑related topics.
• Develop and update curriculum to reflect emerging technologies and industry needs.
• Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable journals.
• Participate in departmental service, including student advising and committee work.
• Collaborate with industry partners to enhance applied research capacity.

Required profile

• Ph.D. from an internationally accredited university in Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level.
• Evidence of research productivity or strong potential for scholarly work.
• Commitment to the mission of the College of Technological Innovation and to student success.
