Assistant/Associate Professor in Technology and Law

About the role

The College of Law at Abu Dhabi University seeks a dynamic faculty member to join its Technology and Law team. The position can be at the Assistant Professor level, with consideration for Associate Professor in exceptional cases. Teaching will be delivered in English and Arabic, covering cyber law, artificial intelligence, and related subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Technology and Law.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.
• Develop and execute a 2‑4 year research agenda aligned with the college’s strategic goals.
• Publish scholarly work in reputable journals and present at international conferences.
• Participate in departmental committees, curriculum development, and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• For Assistant Professor: minimum three years of full‑time teaching and research experience with a record of key publications.
• For Associate Professor: minimum eight years of full‑time teaching and research experience with a strong publication record.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching and active engagement with students.
• Ability to teach in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
