Associate Account Manager – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Henkel is seeking an Associate Account Manager to drive profitable sales growth in Abu Dhabi, focusing on waterproofing and construction chemicals. The role involves building relationships with main contractors and delivering tailored solutions across the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sustainable sales growth in Abu Dhabi, targeting waterproofing and construction chemicals.
• Identify and develop new business leads, engage with main contractors, and manage the full sales cycle.
• Acquire new customers while maintaining long‑term relationships with existing accounts.
• Assess client requirements and recommend appropriate products from Henkel’s portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Support, Account Management, and Business Development to ensure effective service.
• Assist customers with product or technical issues in coordination with the Technical Customer Service team.
• Handle customer complaints promptly, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline, and market risks.
• Participate in regular sales and management meetings, providing market and business updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction sales or business development, preferably in waterproofing and construction chemicals.
• Strong technical understanding of construction applications, materials, and site requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Results‑driven mindset with strong follow‑up abilities and a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Effective stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
