Associate Analyst – KYC, HRO & ODD

About the role

The Associate Analyst – KYC, HRO & ODD will support ADIB’s Business Banking division by performing due‑diligence activities for high‑risk onboarding, name screening and ongoing KYC refreshes. The role ensures compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal risk policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assess completeness and quality of KYC documentation for existing Business Banking customers.
• Conduct name screening of customers, shareholders, directors, authorized signers and related parties.
• Analyze KYC data, documentation and negative news to determine client risk profiles.
• Raise clear Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely KYC refreshes within the ODD workflow.
• Maintain adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for timeliness and quality.
• Participate in system updates, new process implementations and ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or risk‑management training.
• Good knowledge of KYC procedures, onboarding and refresh processes.
• Experience in Business Banking (SME sector) and familiarity with financial‑crime red‑flags.
• Strong analytical and assessment skills related to compliance and IT systems.
