Associate – Climate Impact Analyst

About the role

Join a globally focused climate investment platform and support high‑impact climate and energy‑transition initiatives. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and offers direct exposure to senior leadership and investment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of impact assessments for prospective and existing investments using best‑in‑class impact and climate‑finance methodologies.
• Synthesize impact, commercial and contextual insights into clear recommendations for the Investment Committee and senior leadership.
• Contribute to impact reporting and related internal and external workstreams.
• Monitor global developments in climate, energy transition and climate finance, especially in emerging markets.
• Assist in developing research, knowledge products and thought‑leadership aligned with strategic priorities.
• Prepare high‑quality presentations and briefing materials to communicate complex insights to senior stakeholders.
• Provide ad‑hoc analytical and research support in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree or CFA is advantageous.
• 2‑6 years of experience in impact assessment, climate or sustainability advisory, investment analytics, development finance or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with impact measurement, ESG or climate due diligence, or climate/energy analytics.
• Strong understanding of climate, energy transition, infrastructure or climate‑finance topics; emerging‑markets experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical, research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi full‑time.
