Chief Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chief Accountant to join our hotel finance team. You will ensure smooth financial operations by preparing reports, performing internal controls, and supporting the overall financial health of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the General Cashier’s report, income journal vouchers, and supplier invoices, and code expenses in the general ledger.
• Validate supplier payments and expense reimbursements with supporting documentation such as invoices and LPOs.
• Review payroll reports and related documents at month‑end.
• Prepare general ledger reconciliations and monitor contract renewals.
• Post and update standard and adjustment journal vouchers at month‑end.
• Analyze the general ledger, expenses, and budget variances each month.
• Ensure timely delivery of all accounting reports and meet internal deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree in hotel management or accounting.
• Minimum two years of accounting experience in a hotel setting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills; familiarity with Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN System is a plus.
