Associate Corporate Tax

About the role

The Associate Corporate Tax will support the implementation of tax strategies, compliance and M&A activities within Aldar Group. This full‑time position is open exclusively to UAE nationals and works closely with the AVP – Corporate Tax and the wider tax team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing corporate tax strategies aligned with group objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Review monthly tax provision calculations, reconcile them to the ledger, and support year‑end tax compliance.
• Conduct detailed deferred tax calculations and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Lead transfer pricing initiatives and provide recommendations to optimise the global tax position.
• Provide tax expertise during mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and post‑transaction integration.
• Support Country‑by‑Country Reporting, Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing projects.
• Assist with Economic Substance Regulations compliance and cross‑border tax matters.
• Prepare and review tax‑related financial reports, disclosures and tax provision calculations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external advisors and tax authorities on audits, inquiries and projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, tax, M&A or consultancy, preferably within the real‑estate sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, accounting standards and international tax regulations.
• UAE national status (mandatory for this role).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team.
