About the role
Parsons is seeking an Associate Cost Control Engineer to support internal project cost control activities, including budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Project Control Engineers and Managers with project budgets and forecasts.
- Track labor, subconsultant, and other project costs, updating internal systems.
- Collect, verify, and reconcile cost information from various project sources.
- Prepare periodic cost reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Support cost variance analysis and perform data‑quality checks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project cost control or related environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow procedures, meet reporting deadlines, and work with project teams.
Required skills
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, charts).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
