Associate Creative Director (Art)

About the role

Saatchi & Saatchi Health, part of Publicis Groupe Middle East, is hiring an Associate Creative Director (Art) in Dubai. The role focuses on the visual design and art direction of advertising campaigns, working with copywriters and designers to build cohesive campaigns. It is a managerial position alongside the Creative Director, mentoring art directors and designers, overseeing production of visual elements and leading creative work on account management's behalf.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review creative briefs, and ideate, write and execute original creative concepts in response to client briefs
• Design comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts and final deliverables, and present creative work to the Executive Creative Director, Account Management and Planning Leads
• Manage the workload of the assigned book of business and lead creative efforts on new business assignments
• Mentor and train team members, write performance reviews, allocate work and set goals and KPIs
• Work with the Creative Director on performance, workflow and quality issues, and on long-range plans for the team
• Collaborate with Account Management, Planning and third-party vendors to deliver work on time and within budget
• Train new employees, share outdoor industry expertise and help extend client relationships

Required profile

• 6+ years of agency experience, primarily with an Art background
• Proven conceptual creative ability and judgment
• Experience managing creatives and successful client contact experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with account management and to grow business organically
• Availability to work extra hours as needed
• Demonstrated experience in events (client/brand)

Required skills

• Excellent presentation skills
• Understanding of consumer behaviour and industry trends
• Ability to conceive experience design solutions and communicate creative concepts to clients and internal teams
