Associate Director – Architecture (Dubai)

About the role

An experienced architect is needed to join the senior leadership team of a leading design‑and‑build consultancy in Dubai. The role will drive the delivery of a high‑profile, large‑scale development, overseeing design, technical delivery and post‑contract activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural project delivery for complex, large‑scale developments.
• Manage client relationships and act as the primary point of contact with key stakeholders.
• Oversee design coordination, technical delivery and project execution across all stages.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with programme, quality and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate closely with consultants, contractors, authorities and developer teams.
• Support contract administration and post‑contract project delivery activities.
• Review technical documentation, drawings and consultant packages.
• Attend senior‑level client and project meetings.
• Mentor and manage architectural teams within the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 18 years of professional experience.
• At least 12 years of experience within the UAE market (mandatory).
• Fluent Arabic speaking skills.
• Proven experience with major developers in Dubai on large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE authority processes, regulations and project delivery standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
