Associate Director – Corporate Finance & Investment Banking

About the role

The Associate Director will lead the origination, structuring and execution of corporate finance transactions for WBG and FI clients, delivering Sharia‑compliant financing solutions across ADIB’s core markets.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, structure and execute deals in collaboration with coverage and credit teams.
• Lead financial modelling, due diligence, credit analysis and preparation of pitch decks and transaction materials.
• Negotiate term sheets, mandate letters and facility documentation with clients, lawyers and syndicate banks.
• Supervise associates, provide deal‑team leadership and ensure compliance with Sharia, Central Bank and internal risk policies.
• Drive a robust pipeline of transactions and achieve fee‑revenue targets.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A, advisory or private equity within UAE/GCC banks.
• Proven track record of end‑to‑end deal structuring and execution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to work long hours under pressure to meet client expectations.
• Outstanding academic record (MBA, Masters, CFA or CA preferred).
