Associate Director – Corporate Origination & Business Development

About the role

The Associate Director – Corporate Origination and Business Development will lead the acquisition of new corporate clients for Mashreq Bank, focusing on large corporates, government entities, public sector organisations and GREs. The role combines market prospecting, client relationship building and the delivery of tailored banking solutions to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new corporate borrowers with annual revenues exceeding AED 1 BN.
• Develop and execute proposition strategies, competition analysis, and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Manage the full credit process from proposal preparation to approval, documentation and onboarding.
• Collaborate with product, risk, and coverage teams to design customised financing solutions.
• Track deal flow, prepare business reports and ensure compliance with credit, operational and regulatory risk policies.
• Build and maintain a network of business introducers and referral partners.
• Support the creation of client value propositions and innovative acquisition models.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate banking, origination or business development at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of large‑corporate, government and public‑sector banking needs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end‑to‑end credit processes and achieve revenue targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
