Associate Director, Strategy, MENA

About the role

Join WPP Media's Growth team in Dubai as an Associate Director, Strategy, focusing on multi‑market client acquisition and retention across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Support and lead strategic workstreams for multi‑market pitches and global prospecting opportunities.
• Develop and present compelling strategies in pitches, prospecting and internal meetings, collaborating with senior leadership.
• Work with agency brand planning teams to apply distinct planning approaches (Mindshare, Wavemaker, EssenceMediacom) to create differentiated strategic thinking.
• Integrate insights from the Insights team and multiple disciplines into clear strategic stories.
• Support the Head of Growth across pitches and initiatives, maintaining high standards of strategic quality.
• Build relationships across WPP practices and share best practices within the strategy team.

Required profile

• Strong client‑facing experience in strategy, growth or new business, preferably within media, marketing or agency environments.
• Proven ability to develop and present strategic thinking with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management across disciplines, markets and seniority levels.
• Proactive, commercially minded and adaptable, able to lead strategic workstreams independently.
