Associate Electrical Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a motivated Associate Electrical Engineer to join its Dubai team. This position is open to UAE nationals and offers the chance to work on medium‑to‑large infrastructure projects, applying core electrical engineering techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare electrical calculations, material take‑offs, estimates, surveys, designs, specifications, data sheets and Bill of Quantities.
• Design LV power distribution systems and perform cable sizing using ETAP.
• Create lighting layouts for indoor and outdoor applications with Dialux and AGI32.
• Conduct load flow, short‑circuit and earthing studies using industry‑standard software.
• Develop telecom and MCC network designs, as well as fire‑alarm and life‑safety systems compliant with NFPA and local regulations.
• Generate and analyse BIM models in Civil 3D and Navisworks, resolving clashes and supporting CAD designers.
• Produce technical reports and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Internship or project experience in electrical design of infrastructure projects; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic familiarity with Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dialux and AGI32.
• Understanding of protection coordination for LV/MV networks is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
