Associate Landscape Architect

About the role

The Associate Landscape Architect coordinates, manages and delivers landscape architecture and public realm projects across the UAE, the wider Middle East and other regional markets. Working with Senior Associates and Associate Directors, the Associate supports projects from concept design through detailed design, authority approvals, tender documentation and construction support, while mentoring team members and promoting BIM, AI-enabled workflows and digital project management tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design from concept to completion, maintain design quality and prepare presentations, design reviews and stakeholder meetings
• Manage day-to-day delivery of multiple projects, programmes, resources, risks, budgets and compliance
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants and authorities, and support bids and marketing
• Mentor Senior LAs, LAs, graduates and BIM professionals and support resource planning
• Promote AI tools, BIM workflows and use of Vantagepoint for planning, resource management and reporting

Required profile

• 8+ years of relevant landscape architecture experience; UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in public realm, mixed-use, hospitality, residential or infrastructure projects
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture; professional affiliation preferred
• Strong portfolio showing design, technical and delivery capabilities

Required skills

• CAD and BIM: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation
• 3D modelling and visualization: SketchUp, Rhino (Grasshopper), Lumion, Enscape or D5 Render
• Scheduling and office tools: MS Project, MS Office
• Graphics: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Desirable: Vantagepoint, Land F/X, ArcGIS/QGIS, LEED, Estidama, SITES, and AI tools
