Associate Manager – Distribution Center (Inventory Manager)

About the role

The Associate Manager – Distribution Center (Inventory Manager) leads inventory control within Majid Al Futtaim's Dubai distribution centre. You will ensure inventory accuracy, minimise stock losses and support seamless logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory activities including goods receiving, stock management, replenishment, order allocation, preparation and shipment invoicing.
• Manage and optimise inventory tracking systems, conduct cycle counts, physical stock audits and inventory adjustments.
• Analyse inventory performance, stock ageing, shortages and supplier compliance, implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure Warehouse Management System (WMS) configuration follows FIFO, FEFO and LIFO principles.
• Drive operational efficiency, reduce logistics costs and resolve system‑related issues.
• Develop, coach and manage the inventory team through performance management and training.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, financial procedures, security standards and budgets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical abilities to monitor stock accuracy and identify loss drivers.
• Ability to lead a team and manage performance, training and succession planning.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles (FIFO, FEFO, LIFO) and warehouse best practices.
