Associate ML Ops Engineer

About the role

AppliedAI is looking for an Associate ML Ops Engineer to ensure AI platforms are reliable, effective, and secure. The role focuses on DevOps, SRE practices, and scaling infrastructure for production‑grade environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production environments to guarantee availability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps, MLOps, and development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in observability, incident management, and service level objectives under senior guidance.
• Assist with capacity planning, performance tuning, and cloud cost optimization for high‑traffic systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment, security compliance, and infrastructure improvements.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or a related role (internships and project work considered).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code.

Required skills

• AWS services: Lambda, ECS, Fargate, API Gateway, Route53, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, IAM.
• Infrastructure as Code: CDK, Terraform.
• Automation and containerization basics.
• Familiarity with high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and security.
• Programming: Python, Node.js, Next.js.
• Authentication mechanisms: Auth0, SSO.
