Associate Professor of Education – Educational Technologies & AI

About the role

Abu Dhabi University is looking for an Associate Professor of Education specializing in Educational Technologies and Artificial Intelligence. The position is full‑time and based on the Abu Dhabi campus, reporting to the Dean of the College of Arts, Education & Social Sciences. The successful candidate will play a central role in delivering learner‑centred instruction, advancing research, and supporting the university’s academic quality and accreditation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses that integrate educational technologies and AI.
• Develop curricula, assessment strategies, and learning resources aligned with accreditation standards.
• Conduct high‑impact research in the fields of educational technology and AI, publish in reputable journals, and secure external funding.
• Supervise graduate theses and mentor junior faculty and students.
• Participate in departmental service, curriculum committees, and university governance.

Required profile

• PhD in Education, Educational Technology, Computer‑Based Learning, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly research and publications in educational technologies and AI.
• Extensive teaching experience at the university level with a learner‑centred approach.
• Ability to contribute to accreditation processes and uphold academic quality.
