Associate Relationship Manager

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager will manage a portfolio of small‑to‑medium sized clients and actively source new‑to‑bank customers within the non‑profit organisations segment in the UAE. The role covers end‑to‑end relationship support from onboarding through service execution while meeting financial targets and complying with ADIB policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Source and acquire new‑to‑bank customers in the assigned non‑profit segment, building and maintaining a pipeline to achieve liability growth (CASA/Wakala deposits) and fee income targets.
• Manage a portfolio of lower‑tier clients, maintaining regular engagement to deepen wallet share and support the Regional Manager in larger relationship development.
• Oversee the complete account opening process, including KYC, documentation review, system entry and follow‑up until activation, and coordinate service requests with operations and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with ADIB policies, Sharia standards and Central Bank regulations, maintaining up‑to‑date KYC/ODD records and escalating exceptions as needed.
• Keep client records and pipeline updated, document call memos, monitor portfolio performance and contribute to achieving assigned financial targets.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of banking experience, preferably in Corporate or SME segments, with a proven track record in account opening, documentation review and service request handling.
• UAE‑based experience is mandatory, including exposure to liability growth, customer acquisition activities and cash‑management sales.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple service requests simultaneously and maintain operational discipline.
