We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Research Scientist to spearhead the development of innovative organic covalent frameworks for advanced water purification technologies.

Missions principales

• Design and synthesize novel porous frameworks based on calix[n]arene organic macrocycles.
• Investigate supramolecular interactions between these frameworks and various organic pollutants.
• Evaluate and optimize the performance of newly developed materials in water treatment applications.
• Collaborate within a high-level multidisciplinary environment alongside PhD scientists, doctoral students, and undergraduates.

Profil recherché

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in the synthesis of Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs).
• Strong experimental background with a focus on molecular design and material characterization.
• Experience in applying advanced materials to water purification processes is highly desirable.

Competences requises

• Advanced synthetic techniques: Schlenk line, glovebox operations.
• Material characterization: Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), Electron diffraction, Electron microscopy, and Porosity analysis.
• Proficiency in various analytical methods for chemical assessment.
