Associate Store Design Specialist

About the role

The Associate Store Design Specialist will support the creation and execution of interior concepts for Majid Al Futtaim retail stores. You will translate brand ideas into tangible designs, ensuring quality and efficiency across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mood boards, inspiration images and design briefs for new store concepts.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings to guide implementation of design toolkits.
• Monitor on‑site execution to control quality, timelines and cost.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Graphic Design, Product Design, Content Partners, Brand Management and Business Development teams.
• Apply corporate policies and procedures throughout the design process.
• Review technical drawings for consistency and compliance with company standards.
• Develop in‑house 3D concepts and produce detailed drawings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, preferably focused on retail environments.
• Minimum of 6 months internship experience in retail design.
• Strong ability to communicate design ideas quickly to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using SketchUp for 3D modeling.
• Ability to produce high‑quality 3D renderings.
• Competence with Adobe Creative Suite.
