Associate Vice President – Workflow Automation

About the role

The Associate Vice President – Workflow Automation will lead the AI Lab’s Internal Productivity squad at Rakbank, driving AI‑powered products that enhance the bank’s knowledge management and overall productivity. The role blends hands‑on product leadership with squad management, translating strategic priorities into a clear roadmap and delivering measurable efficiency gains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Internal Productivity squad, focusing on the enterprise knowledge engine and knowledge management capabilities.
• Translate business problems and user pain points into product opportunities, user stories and measurable success criteria, maintaining a prioritized backlog.
• Lead development of the bank’s knowledge management system, including retrieval, search and intelligent assistance experiences, and explore adjacent AI‑driven models such as recommendation engines.
• Partner with knowledge owners, SMEs and content teams to ensure high‑quality, well‑governed information feeds the engine.
• Drive AI enablement across departments by creating playbooks, templates and onboarding journeys that accelerate adoption and demonstrate productivity and cost‑reduction benefits.
• Expand the population of confident AI users within the bank and champion the democratization of AI tools.
• Lead the multidisciplinary squad through agile delivery, ensuring timely release of AI products.

Required profile

• Minimum 72 months (6 years) of relevant experience in AI product management or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional squads and deliver complex AI‑driven solutions.
• Strong understanding of knowledge management, enterprise search and AI enablement.
