Audit Associate – Internal Audit

About the role

The Audit Associate will support the internal audit function of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah. Working under the supervision of the Assistant Manager – Audit, you will help assess business processes, risks and internal controls across various entities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute audit engagements, preparing working papers in line with professional standards.
• Follow audit testing programmes and assess the design and operation of controls related to key risks.
• Document findings, prepare reports with recommendations, and ensure review notes are resolved.
• Interact with clients to facilitate efficient information flow.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• One to two years of recent audit experience in public accounting (up to four years acceptable).
• CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
