Audit & Assurance Manager – UAE

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to join its UAE practice. You will lead audit engagements, ensure high‑quality delivery, and build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review transaction flows and control testing early in the audit cycle to shape the audit approach.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective, applying professional scepticism.
• Identify value‑adding opportunities and integrate specialist expertise into the audit team.
• Participate in group risk assessment and prepare clear referral instructions for component auditors.
• Maintain file checks throughout the audit, ensuring all issues are resolved before completion.
• Engage early with the engagement team, set expectations, and communicate project plans and dependencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing audit engagements in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to challenge findings constructively.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
