Audit Manager

About the role

HLB HAMT Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team in Dubai, UAE. We are seeking a qualified audit professional with strong UAE external audit experience, excellent technical knowledge, and proven experience in managing audit engagements and teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and finalize external audit engagements in accordance with ISA and IFRS.
• Lead audit teams and supervise Seniors, Associates and junior team members.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit documentation.
• Manage client relationships and act as the key point of contact for audit matters.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate audit procedures are performed.
• Ensure engagements are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and training to audit team members.
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations and VAT requirements.
• Identify opportunities for cross‑selling and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• CA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Strong UAE external audit experience in a professional accounting/audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Experience in managing multiple audit engagements and teams.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a fast‑paced professional services environment.
