Audit Senior – External and Internal Audit

About the role

Russell Bedford International, a full-service auditing and accounting practice licensed in the Dubai International Financial Centre since 2006, is looking for a fully qualified CA, ACCA or CPA to join its team as an Audit Senior. You will deliver external and internal audit engagements to the firm's high standards, meeting client commitments within the agreed timeframe.

Key responsibilities

• Execute external and internal audit engagements and complete audit files within the engagement timeframe
• Assist with audit planning, including budgeting, staffing planning and audit planning meetings
• Coordinate each engagement from planning to completion with the required quality
• Build strong working relationships with clients and their staff
• Delegate to junior team members, give on-the-job training and provide feedback

Required profile

• CA, ACCA or CPA (or equivalent) qualification
• Currently based in the UAE with at least 4-5 years of external audit experience with a mid-tier or Big 4 audit firm
• Preference for candidates currently working in an audit firm
• Ability to build strong client knowledge and act as an extension of the client
• Team player with a can-do attitude, keen interest in a challenging and sociable environment, and commitment to continuous learning

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of IFRS
• Effective coordination with team members and other service lines across the firm
